1. Data protection at a glance

General notes
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our privacy policy listed below this text.

Data collection on our website
Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the legal notice of this website.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected, on the one hand, by you providing it to us. This may, for example, be data that you enter into a contact form.

Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or the time the page was accessed). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Your data is collected solely to ensure the error-free provision of the website.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to obtain free information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. For this purpose, as well as for any further questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Analytics tools and third-party tools
When you visit our website, your browsing behaviour is not analysed by tracking or analysis tools. We merely use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our contact form against misuse (see the „Plugins and Tools“ section).

2. General notes and mandatory information

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to protect data completely against access by third parties.

Note on the responsible party
The data controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Judith Augustin
Weberstr. 10
60318 Frankfurt am Main
Germany

T: 069 236547

The data controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses or similar).

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent that you have already given at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of data protection law, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the state data protection officer of the federal state in which our company has its registered office. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place where technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from „http://” to „https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.

When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion
Under the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to the rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.

Objection to promotional emails
The use of contact data published in the context of imprint obligations for sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, such as spam emails.

3. Data collection on our website

Cookies
The websites use some so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are necessary for the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions you have requested are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

Browser type and browser version
operating system used
Referrer URL
Hostname of the accessing computer
Server request time
IP address
These data will not be merged with other data sources.

The legal basis for processing data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or preliminary measures.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, we will collect the data you entered in the form. This information will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, insofar as the enquiry serves to initiate a contract, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). In addition to the form, Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect against abuse and automated enquiries (see separate section below).

You can withdraw your consent at any time. A simple notification by email to us is sufficient for this. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Retention period: The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (usually: after your request has been processed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary). Mandatory statutory retention periods – in particular under commercial or tax law – remain unaffected by this.

Web Fonts
This website uses web fonts. The web fonts used are hosted locally on our own server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google) is established in the process, and no data is transmitted to third parties or cookies set.

Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect our contact form from spam and automated access, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

Turnstile checks in the background whether a form request comes from a human or automated software, without you having to solve an image or text captcha. In the process, technical data such as your IP address as well as device and browser information are transmitted to Cloudflare and processed.
Processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in effectively protecting our website against misuse, spam and automated attacks.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is intended to ensure an adequate level of data protection for the transfer of data to the USA. Further information can be found in Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
